Fused glass pendants are individually hand crafted in an array of sizes, colors, textures, shapes and designs. Due to the nature of the glass and the fusion process, every pendant will always be a unique and one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Although most of the fused glass pendants and jewelry are pre-made, custom designing is available to provide the perfect piece for a very specific need or desire. Please contact us for more information.
After many years as a makeup artist in the television and fashion industry in Los Angeles, Angela set a personal goal to pursue a career that would allow more flexibility in her life and creativity. She had already found herself spending so much of her time designing and creating her jewelry, that it was inevitable she decided to fully focus on her talents as a jewelry designer.
Thoughts from the artist...
ART: Color, texture, expression, passion... How many words does it take to describe the art that touches us? "A picture is worth a thousand words" is probably an understatement. There are an infinite number of art forms that can evoke strong emotion, spark soulful discussions (sometimes even heated!), and inspire us to try our hand at creating.
I am fascinated by every new form of artistry I am exposed to. Each one I learn becomes a part of my creative process, flowing forward and blending into the next medium. Life is much like art: as our artistry is influenced by previous mediums, who would we be today without our life experiences of yesterday?
My current fascination is fused glass. Sharp, jagged pieces of glass transform into smooth, benign, dimensional objects of intrigue and color. As it melts, the glass has free-will and cannot be controlled nor predicted. Much like us, it can never be duplicated; each one guaranteed to be unique and one-of-a-kind.
"Everything happens for a reason." My mantra. I discovered fused glass pendants as a "happy accident" while making a fused glass wind-chime. In the kiln, one of the pieces decided to split into two. (There's that free-will I mentioned.) Keeping true to my nature to attempt to salvage my "mistakes," I made those pieces into my first pendants. I never did finish that wind-chime, but my new career was born.
I am very excited about my jewelry as it continues to grow and evolve in a constant state of change. As with most of my life, I make a mental outline of where I'd like go, but I also remain open to the experiences I could never have predicted. Please continue to check in with me and my art and see where our journey takes us.
